ReRuled is a mobile application that uses AI to generate new rules and game variations for favorite board games. You can ReRule a single game or select multiple games and remix them into completely new, unique, variants.

How much does it cost?

ReRuled will always be free, though the free tier has minimal ads. There is an in-app subscription for $1.99/mo ($19.99/year) that removes ads and gives you access to improved AI models and early access to any upcoming features.

What’s the structure of the output?

Currently ReRuled uses a loose output structure when generating new rules and games, though there is some prompt-templating that happens behind the scenes to ensure responses provide sections for setup, basic gameplay, example turn structure, winning conditions, and game variants.

How can I improve my experience using ReRuled?

Here are some ways to improve your experience using ReRuled:

• Understand the rules to the base game or games you are trying ReRule. ReRuled operates on the assumption that you know how to play these games, or are playing with someone who does.
• When remixing multiple games, limit your selection to two or three games that are of the same type. While you can remix Mousetrap, Guess Who, and Othello, you might not get back a very playable response.
• You your imagination and be flexible. ReRuled won’t generate an entire detailed book of rules so you’ll have to fill in some gaps; sometimes a lot.
• If you use ReRuled as a tool to spark your imagination and not necessarily a prescriptive rule generation tool you’ll have a better time.
